The full version of the Vectaris© electronic manual is a dedicated item of software capable of running on an individual PC, across a network or over the Internet.
The full version of the Vectaris© electronic manual is a standalone application not dependent on external software packages for its internal operation; however, links to external applications is an essential part of its construction (as detailed below). The full version of the Vectaris© electronic manual is not merely a front end for bespoke applications and must run as an executable file in its own right.

· Contains graphical representations of the buildings covered offering a complete overview of all systems covered.
· Is able to connect to external programs such as AUTOCAD© and planned preventive maintenance schemes such as Maximo©, Concept 3000 ©, etc.
· Contains static data i.e. cannot be changed by accident.
· Is able to send e-mail and faxes via the default mail/e-mail applications on the host PC.

· Is capable of producing printed output to allow engineers to take information on to site

· Is modular each section of an electronic manual is a separate manual in its own right this allows quick and easy alterations.

· Contains step-by-step procedures explained within intrinsic text, and be amplified by photographs and animations, where required. The provision for the adoption of video footage to support text shall also be included.

· Contains a live update facility utilising a set of www links built into the software. The links is able to direct the user to their own electronic manual web page this page would contain relevant links to: manufactures information (spares and maintenance techniques and advances), health and safety legislation (this makes the H&S section immortal) and any relevant information on the plant installed, chemicals used etc.
